Passion is not tangible, is not a thing you can find (passion is a lot like love). You can’t find it… you gotta feel it.

You can’t sell it. You got to live it.  Passion is within you. Passion is a cocktail of chemicals allowing you to feel drunk of happiness (euphoria).

Don’t waste your time trying too hard to find your passion a job. It usually prefers to be unemployed.  ”Passion is a state of being”– Is not out there.

We find plenty of misleading information about passion…and how to find your passion, and how finding your passion (?) can make you happy and fulfilled.

You cannot go out there and find your passion, because your passion is not out there.  Your passion is something you turn on and off – by falling in love with who you are and do. (…)

Right now we are letting go of the last days of summer.  As the sunflowers’ leaves set about turning brown, you can see how they bend their heavy heads down towards the ground.  They’re tired, worn out.  They seem as if they’re giving in, surrendering to their imminent deaths.

I wonder what it’s like to be a sunflower.  One minute a sunflower is looking up, up to the sun, reaching, wanting more of the glorious sunshine, stretching.  They make the world happy with their cheery faces..no matter what size, they just are simply cheerful.    They make us smile.

And then eventually as the summer wears on, it’s time to let go.  Time to give up standing tall and reaching, growing so much, wanting the sun.   And I wonder if it’s easy or hard for the sunflowers to allow the weight of their big heads to release and to let the stalks take over.

I’m thinking we could learn something from the sunflowers about letting go.    Of having to always be striving, wanting things, whether it is love or safety or a new smart phone, to know what will happen next, to control.  We have this crazy need to control.

Decluttering Virtual Workshop

Are you starting to question how much of what you own really matters?  Or what is worst, how much are your possessions narrowing your chances of reaching happiness and freedom?

Who made us believe that the more we owe the happier we are? The after math is a large amount of people filled with clutter and the level of happiness plummeting.

It’s awkward that today we have national chain stores selling us containers to store and organize all the unnecessary stuff we have. Wouldn’t it make sense to stop and ask ourselves–Do we need it? before buying the container. You look into a drawer or your garage to find a bunch of things that are taking space with no meaning in your life.

The more clutter you get rid of – the more room you have for positive things to come into your life.

Although you are aware of the damage and the benefits, the problem has been getting the job done. “I’ll do it next weekend…” has turned into months, because cleaning up is kind of boring and can turn into a pain when you have to figure out what to do with all the stuff! Read More
